Observed employee preparing food use phone and adjust earbuds and return to food preparation without changing gloves or washing hands. Provided education on when to wash. Discussed the importance of proper hand washing and when hand washing is required with the person-in-charge (PIC). Hands must be washed at any time contamination occurs and when changing tasks or when potential contamination occurs. Employee changed gloves and washed hands after. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Inspector's notes
Observed a build-up of white organic matter in the soda dispenser nozzle of the soda fountain. All food-contact surfaces must be cleaned to sight and touch and cleaned with a frequency that prevents the build-up of organic matter. PIC removed the nozzles from the fountain and sanitized them during time of visit and plans on further training of night crew in charge of sanitizing the nozzles. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Manager stated at time of inspection that a work order had been placed to remove insects.
