At time of inspection observed a small dog sitting on a pet bed in a shopping cart at the checkout line. Discussed establishment’s policy regarding service animals. According to the person in charge animals are not to be placed in the store's shopping carts. Person in charge was not sure if the customer was asked questions to determine if the animal is a service animal. Customer left the store on their own. Provided ADA guidance document electronically. Discontinue allowing animals in the food establishment without ensuring they are service animals Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
