Discussed with person in charge (PIC) handwash sinks must be supplied with hot water of at least 100°F, soap and an approved hand drying provision at all times. Facilities must be maintained in a condition that promotes handwashing. PIC provided hand drying provision for handwash sink at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection

Inspector's notes
Discussing with person in charge (PIC) on process of utilizing popcorn machine to make popcorn to portion for customers and also discussed the process of cleaning the popcorn machine. Per PIC the popcorn machine is cleaned using the spray bottle labeled disinfectant. PIC said the disinfectant is filled by a different shift and was not aware of what is in the spray bottle. PIC called the day manager to find out what it is. Per PIC and manager on the phone the disinfectant used to clean the popcorn machine is Pine-Sol. Discussed with PIC chemical sanitizers and antimicrobials for food contact surfaces shall meet requirements in 40 CFR 180.940 or 40. PIC provided a spray bottle labeled bleach. When checking the sanitizer levels chlorine test strips were above 200ppm. Use of Pine-Sol was not observed at time of inspection. Assisted PIC by demonstrating achieving proper levels of bleach for food contact surfaces, how to utilize test strips, and discussed cleaning food contact surfaces and ware washing shall be with soap, rinse, approved sanitizer (40 CFR 180.940 or 40) and airdry. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Observed in the back by the three compartment sink antifreeze containers stored over chips and soda bibs. Discussed with PIC chemicals must be stored away from food, utensils, and single service items at all times to prevent contamination. All chemicals were relocated and properly stored by PIC at time of inspection. No contamination observed. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Discussed with Person in Charge (PIC) that fixed equipment that is not spaced to be easily cleaned shall be sealed with caulking to create a smooth and cleanable surface to prevent the accumulation of contaminants.
